Greetings,
I put together a new game based on the Neo-Assyrian Empire and their foes. I made some tweaks to army lists to my basic ancients model from Heirs of Empire and applied the basic campaigns and battle reports system. The hardest part was researching the Brief History and tweaking the system to reflect the flavor of the period. One of the major changes was adjusting the movement rates of the armies and then boosting the effectiveness of Composite Bow shooting. The game is scale and model agnostic and uses base widths for measurement, however I envision using 15MM or smaller models on multi-bases for this version of the game.
I should give the combat model a fancy name, like the B&S S-Cubed (Sword, Shield, and Spear) Ancients Combat System.
